A basic understanding of design styles and types of flowers will greatly enhance enjoyment of your selection because you and your recipients tastes can be more intelligently complimented using our creativity. 

Western line arrangements are the most common traditional  style, usually round, oval or triangular. Flowers used most often include carnations, daisies, pompons and roses.

Garden Style (vegetative), tend to have a more natural, earthy look with the use of branches, Holland flower varieties and greenery. 

Other design styles such as New Convention, Parallel Systems, New Wave, Contemporary Freestyle, and Crescent  usually have fewer, but more eye-catching floral varieties selected and tend to appeal to more sophisticated tastes.

Holland or Spring flowers can be designed loosely in a glass vase or in any of the above mentioned styles.
